Earth’s Days Are Getting Shorter?!

Turns out, this July and August, our days will be a tiny bit shorter—like, milliseconds shorter—because Earth is spinning faster than usual. Scientists are totally baffled since we’ve been slowing down for ages (thanks, Moon). Now, no one really knows why we’re suddenly speeding up again.
