Six months ago, I was the person rolling my eyes at cat videos. "I'm too busy for pets," I'd say. "Too independent." Then my neighbor moved and left Luna behind. Just... abandoned her. I was supposed to find her a shelter, but she kept showing up at my door, meowing like she was giving me daily reports about her day. Week one: I bought "temporary" food. Week two: A litter box "just until I find her a home." Week three: She brought two strays.
