From Hissing Stranger to Couch Buddy

Never thought I’d see the day when my grumpy old cat, Luna, would willingly share her sunbeam with a scrappy ex-feral kitten. But here we are. The first week was basically a hiss-fest—Luna channeling her inner dragon, the kitten acting like every shadow was out to get her. Fast forward to today: Luna’s grooming the little one like she’s always been part of the family. The kitten still flinches at sudden movements, but she’s started purring when Luna’s around. I caught them napping together this afternoon, a tangle of fur and twitchy paws. Adopting a feral kitten felt like a gamble, but watching these two slowly figure each other out has been weirdly heartwarming. Turns out, patience (and a lot of treats) can turn even the most unlikely pair into cuddle buddies.
