Kings Trade Spence—What’s the Endgame?

Wow, Kings fans—did anyone see this Spence trade coming? After a breakout year, Spence (aka the Aussie Blueliner) gets shipped to Ottawa for just a couple of picks. Sure, L.A. gets some cap space, but with our D-core already thin and no NHL-ready player coming back, it feels like we’re giving the Sens a gift.
