I just hit the $1 million net worth milestone at 38 (celebrating internally 🎉), but I'm dealing with some intense workplace politics that's making me question everything. Started from rock bottom - graduated in 2008 making $7.25/hour, lived with parents for years. Climbed from $28k to $70k at a tech company, then things really took off. Now I'm financially secure but my success seems to be creating enemies at work. Colleagues are giving me the cold shoulder, my manager's acting weird since my last promotion, and I'm hearing whispers about me being "too ambitious."
