Weekend hiking trip to Hurricane Ridge – Olympic National Park, WA 🇺🇸 Olympic National Park is full of variety. Mountains, lakes, forests—so much to explore. We did a 2-day trip and focused on the highlights: ✅ Hurricane Ridge Famous for strong winds and stunning views. The Hurricane Hill Trail is fully paved. Easy walk, but not very exciting for hikers. Still, the wide views were amazing. And we saw tons of wildlife— marmots, deer, chipmunks everywhere. 🦌 ✅ Mount Angeles Trail A great contrast to Hurricane Hill. More rugged, more fun. Rated “Hard” on AllTrails, but we’d say moderate. Totally doable with kids. Best part? We saw a black bear family! 🐻 We skipped the rainforest and waterfall. Seen similar views on Vancouver Island.
