After 20 Years in Sales, I Quit at 50—Now What?! 😱

After grinding away in software sales for over two decades, I finally hit my goal: I gave my notice right after turning 50. It was always my dream to retire by this age, but now that it’s real, I’m feeling a mix of relief and anxiety. The office politics, endless targets, and constant pressure were wearing me down. Even though we can live off our investments, I worry about tightening our budget and finding something more enjoyable that still brings in $50k-$75k a year.
