Contreras Hit Again—Cards’ Tough Luck vs Bucs

Wild night in Pittsburgh! Willson Contreras, aka “Willy the Warrior,” took a 99 mph heater from Skenes right off the hand—his 14th HBP this season, tying him for the MLB lead. After a tense moment and a gutsy attempt to stay in, Contreras was pulled for X-rays (thankfully, just a bruise). With Arenado and Herrera already banged up, the Cards can’t catch a break.
