Is it just me or does cheap shampoo work better?

Does anyone else's hair prefer cheap shampoo?? Apparently most hair care ingredients cost the same, regardless of brand🙄🙄. You're often just paying for the label!! Exceptions like Olaplex or K18 have unique patented ingredients.
