Wild update: Narcan (naloxone) isn’t the magic fix for overdoses anymore, thanks to the rise of “tranq” (xylazine) mixed with fentanyl. Narcan still helps with the opioid part, but xylazine is an animal tranquilizer, so it just laughs at Narcan. Now, rescue breaths and oxygen are what’s actually saving lives.
