My senior cat declared war on my kitten

Picture this: I'm a proud cat parent thinking I'm doing something sweet by adopting a kitten. Plot twist – my 4-year-old male cat apparently didn't get the memo about being welcoming. What started as typical new-cat adjustment has escalated into full-blown warfare. My female cat? She's Switzerland – neutral and unbothered. But Mr. Fluffy? He's chosen violence as his love language. I thought it was because the kitten was pregnant when I got her (surprise litter, anyone?). Then I thought it was hormones. Got her spayed in April – still nothing. This morning he launched an attack so brutal it literally woke me from deep sleep. I'm at my wit's end here. My sweet boy has turned into a furry dictator, and I refuse to give up on him.
