Felix chose me, not the other way around

Went to the shelter just to "look" at cats. Yeah, right. Felix had other plans. This orange tabby literally reached through the cage bars, grabbed my sleeve, and refused to let go. The volunteer was like "Well, I guess you're his now." Three years later, I realize Felix didn't need rescuing—I did. Dude has completely reorganized my life. I wake up at 6 AM because that's HIS breakfast time. My expensive couch? His scratching post. My work-from-home setup? His personal warming station during Zoom calls. But honestly? Best decision I never made. Felix runs this house like a tiny furry CEO, and I'm just the staff.
