You can't leave your phone out or in your car. It needs to be in the shade. Otherwise it can cause issues later. The coolest place for it to be is in your pocket or on tue ice chest.

Maybe, just maybe people fish to get away from all that. It's not really always all about catching food. It's about the escape from daily bs to chill on the water

The only time I use my cellphone fishing is to anchor and set my journey on the trolling motor. Other than that everyone can sniff it I'm big chillin.

There are two places I can totally unwind from everything. One is sitting by a body of water focusing on the bobber floating in the water and the other place is during hunting season sitting on the edge of a meadow waiting for a deer or elk.
