Teachers Turn Foster Parents!

Detroit teachers are literally stepping up for their students—by adopting them! At Mumford High, a new program called the Village at Mumford is helping teachers like Nicole Brabson and her husband become foster parents, so kids can stay in their school and community. Nicole says all it takes is a little time and a lot of heart. Imagine being the reason a student gets to call someone 'mom' for the first time.
