Did Microsoft Overreact on Taskbar Change?

Microsoft just ditched its plan to simplify the Windows 11 Taskbar system tray after testers pushed back. The new look would have trimmed out the AM/PM and year, giving us a cleaner, more compact display. Personally, I was all for it—less clutter, more focus. But was this a necessary rollback, or are we just too resistant to small UI changes? Would you prefer a streamlined Taskbar, or do you want all the info, all the time?
