I agree 💯 % … NO golfer likes a 5-6 hour round.. what gets me is this is a no brainer to fix… one thing get carts, my God the golf balls are different, the clubs are different, fairways for sure are different, greens are for sure different, so don’t give me that “ tradition crap”…

Hard to concentrate, or for that matter watch golf at a snails pace. Not to mention the endless commercials. Even the half screen ads or play-throughs as they call them are aggravating. Always mute those.

Slow play won’t change until they lose audience and thus $. It’s simple, be ready to play and hit, but every shot seems to be a board meeting with player and caddie, then a gust of wind hits and they start all over!

I'll agree. Slow play is a problem from the worst player of the day to the best player of the day. The best are the last to fed up. Concentration is already moved holes past the one they are playing. "Do I go for par or make it up on hole ??." So yes slow play is a factor of the game. Slower players take the momentum from the game and causes havoc to the better players following. These players can not just let the faster players pass them as is custom of this gentleman's game. No passing at this level of play so PGA enforces rules concerning slower players. Either move them along or find them.

it will always be slow play - until you put out ( no reas pmon to mark two to four putts) every does it - even my friends I golf with 🤔
