Big change alert: Southwest Airlines is officially ending its famous open seating! Starting Jan. 27, you’ll need to buy an assigned seat—no more mad dash for the best spot. Tickets with seat assignments go on sale July 29, but they’re keeping the add-on price under wraps for now.
