Social Security Checks Get a Small Bump—But Will It Help?

Heads up if you’re on Social Security: your July check might be a bit bigger thanks to a 2.5% cost-of-living boost. That’s about $50 extra for the average retiree, but don’t get too excited—experts say rising healthcare costs could eat up most of that raise. If you’re waiting on a retroactive payment, some folks are seeing lump sums of over $6,700. Pro tip: Switch to direct deposit for faster, safer payments! #Business #MakeMoney #SocialSecurity

I received a letter from Social Security and outlined the increase to include Part B health insurance ... needless to say, the "increase" is absorbed by the Health Insurance increase. Typical.

Maybe if so many scams, theft, unnecessary spending and etc would stop, the those on these funds could get adequate raises/cost of living adjustments.

True ever time we get a rise medcare goes up i don't think they should do that with a rise for one month because it's going to go up in January that little bit will help but not much with everything going up
