Who knew the Tesla Model S Plaid would absolutely smoke the new Corvette ZR1 in a drag race? Both pack over 1,000 hp, but the Tesla’s instant electric power left the Corvette eating dust—every single round. The Plaid ran the quarter-mile in just over 9 seconds, while the ZR1 struggled to keep up, even with its monster V8 and massive turbos. electric motors can have 200%-300% torque at zero RPM... While an ICE as no torque at zero RPM... therefore easily beat an ICE off the line

who can drive from Washington State to California faster? oh, thats right. A Ford pinto could beat the Tesla. The pinto can gas up and go. The Tesla has to stop for HOURS to recharge. 🤔
