The snap that still makes me want to throw my TV

2006 Wild Card against Seattle. Tony Romo drops the hold on what should have been a chip shot field goal to win the game, and I’m convinced that moment cursed our entire franchise for the next decade. We had no business losing that game. The Seahawks were limping into the playoffs, we were rolling with a rookie quarterback who looked like the real deal, and our defense was actually playing well for once. All we needed was Martin Gramatica to hit a 19-yard field goal, and we’re moving on to the divisional round. Instead, Romo bobbled the snap like he was trying to catch a greased watermelon, scrambled around desperately, and got tackled two yards short of the end zone. Game over. Season over. #NFLPain #NFL
