Walmart Receipt Checks: What Really Happens

I won’t let them check my receipt. If they have time to check my receipt they have time to get behind a cash register.

i always show my receipt, smile at the host, and tell them "have a nice day". It costs nothing to be kind. Do you realize how childish and petty some of you sound ? Get over yourselves.

Walmart employees are only doing what they’re told to do. If you notice the employees working the doors are senior citizens. The problem is us for we have no patience and compassion toward people doing their job. Jesus said, “Love thy neighbor,” not run them over with a shopping cart 🛒. 🤔😲🤔🤔🤔🤔

I'm one of those receipt checkers. People are rude and forgetful. On the phone not paying attention. I catch little things at least 1 to 2 times a day. it all adds up. and yes under the buggy that is supposedly forgotten. our job is to make sure you paid for everything. because of the things I lasted above. we don't call it stealing till you get out the door or really close to it. if we think you are trying to steal they pull you to the side and inquire about. it we catch at least 1 or 2 a day sometime that are really trying to steal and sometime they try to get out with a buggy full of items .last one I caught it added up to 2 thousand or so. and I have gotten a knife pulled on me before. its getting more dangerous as time goes by they get more and people get more desperate. so get your groceries delivered if you don't like it or be ready show it if it's out of bag . and just go on try. being nice 🤔

I have noticed many times that most of the receipts that are reviewed are from people of color.

Wal-Mart is a craphole

If there is a product out of bag then host will ask for receipt. If host is to chk receipt from manager or undercover , it's for another reason . They are doing their job. They are not all seniors. Host is there for stop's, and control of traffic and for look out. Repeated faces walk in and out of customers that do high theft, so host knows how to identify. They are very important to the store

I usually let them know when coming in that I’m not going to show my receipt on leaving not to be rude but if Walmart wants to act you are stealing they need to put cashiers back on the line and not have people rudely spoken to at the door. I don’t speak rudely I just let them know it’s not them it’s Walmart and yes I know people these days do steal outrageously but most are honest. My statement is to corporate you charge enough to pay cashiers we shouldn’t be doing our own groceries 😡

they can't hire cashiers to run the registers but they'll hire old men put a uniform on them and put them at the door what's that going to do all my worst day I can outrun him so if I stole something he'd be pointless... instead of wasting their time and money on that they should hire more cashiers
