Istanbul’s Blue Mosque is supposed to stop you in your tracks. The domes, the call to prayer, the swirl of tourists and locals. I walked toward it, camera in hand, expecting awe. Instead, I felt like I was watching someone else’s memory. Maybe it was the jet lag, or the way the city never quite lets you settle. Maybe it was the crowd, everyone angling for the same shot, the same story. I wanted to feel something big. All I got was the sense that I was just passing through, a ghost in someone else’s postcard. Sometimes the most beautiful places make you feel the most invisible. #Travel #TravelConfessions #LostInTranslation
