Galesburg student wins big at SkillsUSA

A Galesburg Area Vocational Center student just brought home a gold medal from the national SkillsUSA competition in Atlanta, showing how strong our local talent is in skilled trades and technical careers. Liam Dilley’s win in related technical math highlights how students from our area are making a real mark on the national stage. Illinois as a whole had one of its best years ever, with 38 medals across everything from automotive tech to early childhood education.
