yeah right anything the government does it screwes it up and makes it worse just look at deregulation.

Just remember, lot of this was brought on by previous truck drivers. Causing serious accidents. Time for speed limititers on trucks more strict hours of service rules

I am kind of shocked to read the comments. I guess it’s ok not to receive the same labor laws that the states have. How about live cameras in trucks. I guess privacy is not an issue. Maybe no overtime, night differential pay or holiday and weekend pay. Maybe sick days personal days and limits on the time on the road.How about brokers paying a set percentage of a load. Parking is always an issue but the interstates are federally funded. States shut down rest areas or if they provide parking. There are no facilities, bathrooms nothing but a dirt lot. Some states have time limits on parking areas. Whoever is saying they want more hours to drive. 70hrs a week is working two jobs and it will burn a driver out. Recap the driving hours. If done correctly you can drive for as long as you want. The people that said they want more hours to drive. That is the company speaking. Not a driver.

I found out truckers are always complaining about something or the other. I am a trucker. and I'm happy!!!!! make enough money to need to pay lots of taxes, got food, got a home. thanks uncle Sam.

with all the weak minded people in the industry what did you expect from the new crowd. all they want is the truck to sleep in and enough food to survive and electronics

I’d like to see it happen, but corpses move faster than the government, so it might actually happen by 2075.

Biggest problem is a lot of the drivers can't read English let alone the signs.
