i know the warehouse/delivery folks all told me they were told kroger bought too much milk and 4 people were made to pour it in floor drains cause they werent selling fast enough.that in monroe ohio

They must follow the same regulations defined by the health department just as restaurants are. Where a restaurant cooks and prepares a lot of food to order, Kroger prepares food in advance and would logically have more food waste

Kroger is not the only grocery chain guilty of this. I work for a very large chain that does the same thing. At least a full truckload a day of waste. Put into divert bins and shipped out.
