I spent last weekend chasing fall colors on the Beehive and South Bubble trails. Acadia is supposed to be a reset button, right? But the crunch of leaves under my boots just made my thoughts louder. Everyone else seemed to be in awe—phones out, posing, laughing. I kept snapping photos too, but none of them felt like proof I was really there. The views were perfect, but I still felt like a guest in my own head. Maybe that’s what hiking is: moving forward, hoping the scenery will change something inside you. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t. #Travel #TravelConfessions #FallFoliage
