Everyone talks about the jaw-drop moments in New Zealand—those hikes where the world cracks open and you’re supposed to feel something big. I hit that ridge, wind slicing my face, mountains so sharp they looked fake. I took the photo. I waited for awe, or peace, or whatever you’re supposed to feel when you finally get here. Instead, I felt empty. Not sad, just... blank. Like I’d been chasing this view for months, and now that I had it, I didn’t know what to do with it. I scrolled through my camera roll later, trying to find the magic. The photo looked unreal. I still didn’t post it. #Travel #TravelConfessions #NotWhatYouExpect
