North Cascades is two hours from Seattle, but it feels like a different planet. Everyone says it’s beautiful, and they’re right, but nobody talks about the quiet that follows you home. I stood at the overlook, mountains sharp against the sky, and thought: this should fix something. It didn’t. I took photos I’ll never post because they look like stock images—too perfect, too empty. Maybe the real view is the one on the drive back, when the adrenaline fades and you realize you’re still you, just with muddy boots and a full camera roll. Sometimes, the most beautiful places don’t change a thing. #Travel #TravelConfessions #NatureAndNumb
