The mountains outside my Sapa homestay looked like a screensaver—mist, rice terraces, the whole deal. I took a hundred photos and barely remember any of them. I kept thinking: if I could just capture this, maybe I’d feel something. But mostly, I was tired. My shoes were wet, my head hurt from the altitude, and the WiFi was too slow to send proof of where I was. I watched other travelers post their perfect mornings, and wondered if they felt as empty as I did. No one tells you how lonely it is to see something beautiful with no one to share it with. #Travel #TravelLoneliness #UnfilteredJourneys
