Left Off the Wedding Guest List?!

find out from your niece why you were not invited in a calm, rational tone of voice. perhaps she invited you to functions in the past, and you never responded. Years ago, I used to host Thanksgiving dinner in my home every year and invited ten family members. One particular family never responded in any form. I knew she was alive. One year, she decided to show up uninvited with two of her guests whom I had never seen before. I was shocked to see her. I had stopped inviting her since she never responded.I stepped outside to talk to her because I am very superstitious with the energy that comes into my home. She said they were her friends. I was happy to see her, but I told her I could not invite her friends inside. My friends are aware not to bring extras to my home without consulting me. My home is my sanctuary. and not everyone is your friend.You have to protect your peace of mind from negative energy. I have a very discerning spirit.

Weddings are expensive. Do you have to be there? It’s not the end of the world.

I was never invited to my sisters... one less gift I didn't need to waste money on...

I would not give anyone the satisfaction of asking why I was not invited to their wedding. A guest list for a wedding is carefully created. If you are left off of one it is a definite decision. Do something special for yourself on that day and forget about the wedding.

Call and ask if it’s that important to you. But don’t be surprised if they say you didn’t make the cut. Sometimes the amount of family out numbers the amount of guests you’re having and you have to make choices. My granddaughter is only having 40 that’s 20 each side. Just be a you’re related doesn’t qualify you to attend.

I have (?) a friend (?) that I've known from 16year old (now north of 65!). Been with her her thru thick and thin, thru marriages, divorces, and even introduced her to her current husband. She used to live in Oregon with husband #1 and had a son. When she moved back east she left son behind (!) Son eventually moved east with her, and i saw him grow into a man. Thought we were close. Was friends with his fiance, too! For his wedding, I was NOT informed OR invited!! Doubt I'll get over that . Just how people are, I guess.🤔

Ask. Sometimes, mistakes happen. If you are truly not invited, you have bigger problems. 🙏
