I thought Yellowstone would be the trip that finally lived up to the hype. Geysers, bison, endless sky—everyone says it’s unreal. But standing there, camera in hand, I felt like I was watching someone else’s highlight reel. The crowds pressed in, and the sulfur hung heavy. I waited for awe to hit, but mostly I felt tired and out of place, like I’d missed the secret everyone else knew. Maybe some places are better as postcards. Or maybe I just wasn’t ready to be amazed. Either way, the photos stayed on my phone, unposted. Sometimes the most famous places leave you lonelier than the empty ones. #Travel #TravelExpectationVsReality #YellowstoneUnfiltered
