I don’t hate technology, but I really think phones have quietly wrecked so much of what made everyday life feel real. Conversations don’t flow anymore. Someone always has to fact-check the moment you say something slightly off. Hanging out? Half the group is staring into a screen. They're there, but not really there. Kids used to walk home laughing, talking games or dumb jokes. Now it's just heads down, eyes glued to screens, recording themselves walking like extras in their own show. And when something actually happens, like an accident, the first instinct isn’t to help or even react. It’s to film. Through a half-rolled window. While driving. This isn’t some anti-tech rant. I love digital stuff. But somehow we ended up in a world where being present feels like a lost skill. That’s kind of depressing. #ModernLife #PhoneAnxiety #ScreenFatigue #PhoneAddiction #WhereDidWeGoWrong #BeHereNow
