Wild ’70s School Rules You Won’t Believe

And you know what? The 70s kids got a much better education and were mich tougher than the kids today.

most of the trucks in our school student parking lots had gun racks with guns on them. No issues. Go figure. 🤔

You all wanna knock our generation, but look at the wimps you all are raising.

Loud music, cold beer, tube tops, fast cars, mellow weed, no guns, keggers at the lake, minimal makeup, floating down a river in a inner tube, parents feeding everyone that came over, $1.86 an hour jobs, gas for .60 a gallon, respect for parents, law enforcement and teachers, block parties, fixing your own cars, helping elderly neighbors, caught under age drinking and cops would pour out the beer and tell you to go home, schwinn stingrays, skateboards, skinny dipping... Just a few memories off the top of my old head, definitely a beautiful time to be a teenager. 👍

Graduated in 1980. Gun racks in the trucks. We were not allowed to wear shorts to school and had no air conditioning. We also didn't get out early for heat. Played outside on the playground at school in the winter. We rode in the back of trucks, didn't wear helmets or knee pads. We grew up tough.

only dresses for the girls and short hair for boys. no t-shirts

I do remember gun racks in trucks with rifles in them parked in a school parking lot. Don’t remember school shootings though. Not till Colorado.

Graduated in 1980. We had a smoking area also. We had open campus. I don't know why I ever wanted to grow up lol. Those were definitely the good old days

70’s best of times we did all this and no one was ever shot or killed most grew up to be good hard working Americans

There were no cell phones .. no social Media .. you had to actually sit around and talk and have a good time !
