I went hiking because I needed to get out of my own head. The trail was half-frozen mud, my fingers numb, and I kept thinking about how much I wanted to just turn back. Then I rounded a bend and everything changed—snow everywhere, silent and sudden, like someone had drawn a line between two worlds. It wasn’t the Instagram kind of pretty. My boots were soaked, my phone battery dying, and I was alone. But for a minute, I forgot about the rest of my life. I just stood there, breathing in the cold, letting it sting. I didn’t take a photo. Sometimes the best moments are the ones you keep for yourself. #Travel #UnexpectedJourneys #TravelConfessions
