Sørvágsvatn looks impossible—water hovering above the ocean, cliffs that mess with your sense of scale. Everyone says it’s a must-see, and I believed them. I stood there, wind slicing through my jacket, waiting for something to click. But the view didn’t fix anything. I was still tired, still scrolling through old messages, still me. The photos look wild, but I remember the ache in my legs more than the view. No one warns you that sometimes the most epic places leave you feeling small, not transformed. I left with muddy shoes and the same questions I arrived with. The lake was real. The rest of it—still a work in progress. #Travel #TravelRealityCheck #FaroeIslands
