The hotel room in Lucerne had everything Instagram promised. Lake view. Alpine backdrop. Golden hour light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows. I stood there for twenty minutes, waiting to feel something. Anything. The mountains were perfect. The water was glass. Other travelers were probably posting this exact view with captions about gratitude and wanderlust. But I just felt... empty. Like I was watching someone else's life through expensive glass. Travel sells you the idea that the right view will unlock something inside you. That beauty equals healing. That distance from home means distance from your problems. Sometimes it does. Sometimes you're just carrying the same weight in a prettier room. Lucerne was stunning. I wasn't broken. But I wasn't fixed either. #Travel #TravelReality #PostcardMoments
