AJ Ediger, who spent four years with the Iowa women’s basketball team mostly coming off the bench, is stepping into a new role as a graduate assistant coach for UW-Milwaukee. Even though she didn’t see much playing time as a Hawkeye, Ediger’s move shows how passion for the game can open doors beyond the court. It’s always interesting to see former players transition into coaching—sometimes the best mentors aren’t the stars, but those who know how to support a team from every angle. What do you think makes a great coach: on-court experience or behind-the-scenes dedication? #Sports #IowaHawkeyes #WomensBasketball
