Stubai Höhenweg, Austria. Seven days, six huts, and a lot of time to listen to my own breathing. The trail is supposed to be one of the most beautiful in the Alps, but all I remember is the ache in my knees and the silence at dinner when everyone else spoke German. I thought hiking would clear my head. Instead, it made every thought louder. I kept waiting for the view to fix something in me, but the mountains just stood there—indifferent, massive, unmoved by my smallness. Sometimes, travel isn’t about finding yourself. Sometimes it’s about realizing how much you carry, even when you’re thousands of meters above everything you know. #Travel #SoloTravelTruth #AlpineReality
