RCR will never again be the organization it was before Dale Earnhardt Sr passed. After his death, the only success RCR had was with Kevin Harvick and if everyone remembers those were Dale Sr.'s cars, built by his crew, repainted white with the number 29 added in place of the number 3, driven by Kevin Harvick. Richard Childress promised Dale's mom that the number 3 would be "retired" "Never to be on the track again!" Only to bring the number back in 2014 for his grandson. The font or nothing was changed from the iconic car Dale Sr drove. Austin Dillon couldn't honor the legacy of that number and car or the legend who drove it on his ABSOLUTE best day! He can't hold a candle to the legacy of the man or do justice to the car!
