Tennessee’s new running back duo ready to shine

Losing Dylan Sampson might have worried Vols fans, but there’s real excitement brewing around DeSean Bishop and Peyton Lewis stepping up this season. Bishop, a Knoxville native, actually averaged more yards per carry than Sampson last year and looks laser-focused to make the most of his shot. Lewis brings serious speed, and with experienced transfer Star Thomas in the mix, Tennessee’s backfield could be even more dynamic. Peyton Lewis has that next level speed so I think we will see him take leaps and bounds this season with more opportunities now that Sampson is in NFL

Desean bishop plays about like Sampson not as much breakaway speed as Lewis but has a great first step and vision out of backfield.

for my Workhorse I would have Bishop and Lewis but I would task Lewis with some short catches like we used to do with Samson a lot. if he gets in the open field he is gone and both players seem to hold on to the ball well we'll see if that holds true in games. Thomas could also be a factor.
