A black bear trekked nearly 50 miles across northern Wisconsin with a plastic jar stuck on its head before finally being rescued near Cable. Wildlife crews spent a week tracking the bear, which managed to survive by dunking its head in water to drink. When they finally caught up, the bear was underweight but otherwise unharmed, and was released back into the woods—straight to a patch of wild berries. It’s a wild reminder of how human trash can impact local wildlife. What do you think we can do as a community to prevent this from happening again? #Pets #Wisconsin #WildlifeRescue
