But they cry about tarriffs 😲 when they throw away half the stuff they buy.Have you seen what they throw away after Christmas to make room for spring .

Mostly its because they don't give anything away unless they spend 10 times as much to publicize the event. Some small businesses do work with non-profits to give away food or items. However, in some states and cities, this is illegal. The reasons are usually outdated laws or misinformation.

I have been homeless in Tennessee for a few years now and I am living out of my car, in Nashville Tennessee. I used to dumpster dive for things to sale to make extra money because I don't panhandle or fly a sign, so I dumpster dive and in the Harbor Freight stores I have been finding bookoo's bookoo's of good tools and there's nothing wrong with them and I would take them to the flea market and sale them to make money from them and now harbor freight and other stores have placed padlocks on them to keep people out so they can't get them to sale but waste management employees are going to the trash when they get to the waste Management facility and taking the tools and everything is good and putting in their vehicles and they're going to the flea markets and sell on them why don't they stop that as well?

I have large oil painting I trash picked like 45 yrs ago. Still beautiful, why thrown out? No clue. Since then I do watch dumpsters…..

Some people just throw away items they are changing out to something new. With nothing or little wrong with items

Taking something that someone else threw Away ! Is not Illegal PERIOD. The COPS DO IT .

I've seen a lot of people dumpsters diving and they have got some really nice things.i would love to do it.but i don't think Tennessee allows it but I might try it
