I didn’t plan to stay in Norway this year. The idea of flying somewhere new was supposed to mean escape, or at least a break from the version of myself that feels stuck. But I ended up in Romsdalen, surrounded by mountains I grew up seeing on postcards and family calendars. It’s strange how familiar places can feel foreign when you’re desperate for change. I kept waiting for the landscape to shift something inside me. Instead, I found myself noticing the small things I’d always ignored—the way the river sounds at 2AM, the chill that settles in your bones even in July. I didn’t find adventure. I found a quiet kind of acceptance. Maybe that’s enough, for now. #Travel #TravelAtHome # #UnexpectedJourneys
