I agree. Grieving is difficult at best and then you find out you didn’t need to go through that. I agree. I’d be finding an attorney and sue the hell out of that place. That’s not right for the animal or the owner. They both have feelings and you just crushed them

No way. She didn’t love her dog enough to figure it out or at least be with her baby till the very end. Think how scared her baby was being left in a noisy shelter, scared and dying and your mommy dumps you off there to be put down without her being by your side. Hell no you don’t have us pay the bill, nurse your baby back to health and then call you as if you have any rights to get that baby back. A true Mother would just be so grateful they saved the dog and they got a home where they are loved unconditionally. All the owner should do is feel shameful for her part of leaving her baby when they needed her the most

That's crazy. Why would you tell a person there dog needs euthanized...then treat him and put him up for adoption?? The anguish the poor woman must have felt and the poor dog being stolen from it's owner....that's diabolical!! I'd be suing someone for that!! Greed for $$$ caused it. They get euthanasia funds, then get adoption funds...SMH!!!

That is a crappy deal by that shelter.

Stop with the suing advice. She gave the dog up because she didn’t want to take care of the dog. Luckily someone decided to treat him and find a loving home. Bless those who cared for the dog.

Animal shelters need to be shut down and revamped with people who truly love animals!

No sympathy here. I've been in rescue for years. people get told their pet needs an expensive treatment or surgery, and they instead ask the vet to put it down. No ethical vet wants to kill an otherwise healthy animal, and once you sign over your rights you no longer have a say in what happens to him. If a rescue or shelter decides to spend the money on fixing the issue, it also has the right to find it a new home. People try to scam the system surrendering an animal in need of treatment, then try to adopt him back after someone else pays the vet bill. There are charities that help with that if you wanted to keep him. If you decide you'd rather kill him than fix him, too bad. He deserves better.

Every one of u "passed judgement" onto this lady with absolutely no evidence in the story of your judgements! How do you know she did not have money to take the pup to a vet? Never once was anything mentioned in regards to money, or another vet. The story merely stated the pup had an illness and was to be euthanized. Never once mentioned what the illness was nor if it were treatable or not nor did the story mentioned who chose euthanasia. This world is so full of judgement and negativity. It's easier to bash and slam then to embrace and help. Before you judge another, which is not for any one of us to do btw, step into their shoes and view the whole story before assuming and judging!! Something to think about in your spare time when not judging others!
