Rings are the MVP of priorities in any sport. Just because LeFraud only has 4 which he earned mostly from joining super teams, young jokesters who were never around in the 80s and 90s to appreciate real hoops want to elevate stats.

good question. ask LBJ, After Chasinf rings for 22 years, wearing Mjs 23 jersey, and team swapping multiple times, he says he doesn't "understand" ring culture. From a guy who is still playing at 40 doing his best to at least tie Kobe. Retire brother.

Ring debate should only be a debate amongst people who have rings.
But judging by their skills and greatness,still shouldn’t keep them out of the topic.
There’s a lot of rookies and new team player who got rings and never got any playing time.

Rings can never outweigh a players legacy no matter how much you try to spin it. Case in point Robert Horry has 7 rings he’s 7-0 in the finals. Your not about to tell he was better or had more impact then Charles Barkley,Pat Ewing,Steve Nash,Reggie Miller,Melo,etc. and the countless greats that never won a chip. It doesn’t make their accomplishments minute in the least bit.

It’s a combo of the two. Great individual stats are considered more valuable when they result in championships.
