UnitedHealth Cuts: What It Means for Seniors

have had great coverage wirh UHC , hope it continues

I’m on United health advantage. The new plans are not out yet. Those of us who are affected won’t actually know till Oct 1. So whoever wrote this is trying to invoke fear.

I’ve have never had any problems with UHC.

My spouse and I have had Original Medicare and a supplement (plan G) with UHC for several years now and they have been great. Original pays 80% and the plan G pays the other 20%. We’ve had no problems whatsoever with them. It’s seems that the people who are having problems are the ones who have the Advantage plans.

I went to Humana for 6 month and they don’t cover shit I have to say I hope this is a scare because I really like United Health Care

love my UHC card and medical plan never had a problem with any of my medical bills thank God 🙏

I just switched to Humana. UHC was calling all the time!!! Telling me about benefits I already had. But now I have some dental to get dentures.

I’m new to UHC and so far they are great. Standard deductions. I’m liking it. Hope they stay as they are now. I just had cancer surgery and have had NO problems with their payments. Hope they stay good. It’s hard to find good Medicare advantage plans. But I believe UHC IS one of the good ones.

I have had a UHC Advantage plan for a few years and have thought they are great. however, this year I did notice a reduction in some of my benefits which caused more out of pocket expenses in previous years. For example my eye glasses frames & lenses allowance dropped from $350/year down to $200. Not a lot of optometry places participate with them, and the ones that do have frames that start at $150-200, so the lenses are basically out of pocket. I need bifocals and the anti-reflective coating (helps with light flares from astigmatism), and just those 2 additions to the lenses would have been an extra $350. I know prices very from area to area, but where I live $350 is a lot to pay out of pocket for glasses when you have insurance.
