Why No One Wants Germany’s Wind Farms

Because windmills are grossly inefficient. They cost millions of dollars and each one can only produce around 1.8 MW of energy in a day. You need around 120 of these windmills to equal the energy produced by one small nuclear plant.

Wind turbines don't make enough electricity to pay for themselves and then comes the maintenance! They're a bad investment of our taxes! 🤬 Wind Turbine Industry has not accounted for decommissioning and maintenance issues. I read - “Siemens Energy have incurred rising upkeep costs. Stupidly, Germany decommissioned all of their nuclear plants.

The offshore wind boondoggle is appropriately dying.

The point to make is plain and simple. If wind farms made more money and were more efficient then we would be inundated with them.

I especially love the abomination of windmill graveyards destroying acres and acres of land. Boondoggle of an industry!

in Germany they are actually tearing down wind farms built over coal mines so they can start mining coal again.

I've always wondered what happens after decommissioning a windmill. Do they put a new windmill in its place or just walk away after the clean-up? If no new windmills are replacing old ones, then you're just building them for tax incentives. Then, the whole climate issue and going green energy is a fraud. I think no-one wants to buy a thecwind farm because there's no tax incentive to buy it.

No one in WA State wants them either.
