The new Sixpack Chargers ditch the V8 but pack a Hurricane twin-turbo I6, real exhaust sounds, and up to 550 hp. Scat Pack hits 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, and you can even do smokey burnouts. It’s not a muscle car. Muscle pays homage to the era. Building anything else switches from
Muscle car…. To performance car. Completely different concept. At that point you can call corvettes porche and Ferrari as a muscle car. Requires a v-8. 2 doors. And a back seat kids can sit.

The leaning tower of power slant 6 225 was an amazing engine, in stock form would virtually last a lifetime. A built version could produce V8 horsepower. I have checked out the new Hurricane straight Six twin turbo and unlike many current engines, this one has peaked my interest. Straight sixes are designed for longevity with more main journals. Very good torque. I havent seen a gas version of a straight six come along a new car in quite some time.👍🏼
