get rid of non-medical people making decisions for insurance companies. force the insurance companies to use ONLY registered nurses or doctors to review claims!

A rare life changing brain surgery if it's effective, can usually be mostly covered by the hospital, research or other supplemental funding. why is it being denied? Is it experimental, or are there other options?

Insurance companies find every loophole on the books not to approve a procedure. The key words here are “life changing”, not life threatening. So, since dying from having a seizure is rare, the insurance company is going to use that to justify not paying that 500 grand.

little Frank Maldonado Jr. was epileptic they said while I had him he never had one. he was a happy boy.then family services took him on Christmas eve saying they had a family with a dad. when they gave him to me they said they would never do that. I was the only one he knew as mom him and my 2 kids and him were buddies. I think he is now a officer in California. I am so proud of him and tried to reach out to him but probably just scared him He was only 2 when they took him If he had really been an epileptic they could have thrown him into a major seizure the fact that is. a baby needing surgery that's life threatening illness is totally wrong. the price they need is ridiculous also.🙏

that seizure free is not true I had since a baby and I'm 58 now I still have seizures so don't believe that
