I am soon to be Oma and let me tell you things are so different with generation z.
I had specific rules for my mil when she watched our I expect the same and will follow them to a T because that is their child. yes it my blood and I am OMA but to much in the world with rsv, covid, etc.
I wouldn't take the chance at all.
Like I said I said their child their rules.

So you need her to watch your kid and expect her to just sit home? And an errand is not a joyride. Did you teleport the baby or did it arrive in a vehicle you drove?

My daughter and husband set rules before baby came. And we all follow them both sides of family with one exception who chose to FAFO and is not allowed near baby now till baby gets vaccinated.
Their baby their rules period!

she should not bring your baby on erans all those germs they May not have been vaccinated plus I would not allow my mom to drive around with my child for a bit.

I didn't have rules and neither did my kids. Shy of going to a bar or some other ridiculous thing. Everyone did great. Kids need to learn to be flexible.
